Buying a new home

I have just come across yet another case of a new home owner finding a damp problem a few months after they have moved in resulting in mould, damp, and health issues for their very young baby. We found the fungus and wet rot behind the bath which had been hidden. Now they are looking at damage to bathroom floor, kitchen ceiling and nearby bedroom and that is not cheap.
